“How to get from Union Station to American University” stems from the idea that people who are brand new to DC and want to visit AU have no all-encompassing guide on how to use public transportation to get there. The school’s private shuttles don’t show up on GPS applications and being thrown into a metro system can be a bit intimidating, so this project looks to ease that knowledge gap and create a helpful itinerary on how to travel.

The sticker aesthetic of the project helps tie the project back to a more youthful and fun tone that is on trend today. I looked to make this project as simple as I could so that the information would not be burdensome on the first-time viewer who is likely to be unfamiliar with this area. References to buildings and even the inclusion of Clawed Z. Eagle also connect it well to the culture of American University.
